A: We will reimburse you up to $100 per incident for towing assistance expenses if the vehicle becomes inoperable due to damage to tire(s) and/or wheel(s) from a road hazard. This allowance is comprised of towing service. You must make your own arrangements for towing allowance.
A: Over the years, we’ve heard a lot of reasons for purchasing a pre-paid maintenance program. The two most common reasons are BUDGET and DISCOUNTS. Paying for regularly scheduled maintenance at the time of vehicle purchase allows you to lock–in the cost for those items at today’s prices with a HUGE discount just like buying your cable and Internet in a “bundle.” Plus you can finance the cost over the life of your loan so most of your maintenance costs spread out evenly each month. Plus, the 360-degree services provided by the Car Doc program protect the value of your vehicle and maximize its resale value.
A: In all cases, the Car Doc uses the manufacturer recommended oil – traditional, blend, synthetic, etc. Car Doc even ups the ante using great brands like Pennzoil to deliver the best performance and value possible. Car Doc oil changes are comprehensive – no extra costs like some other maintenance plans.
A: No, the Car Doc can be purchased with any new or used vehicle – including diesel – as well as leased vehicles. Used vehicles will just start their interval services at the current mileage and continue for the duration of the plan.
A: Car Doc services are performed using the same intervals and frequency as New vehicles. The only difference is that the vehicle mileage at purchase is “mile one” for the intervals. For example, if you purchase a used vehicle with 46,000 miles, at 51,000 miles – 5,000 miles post-purchase – your vehicle would receive its first Car Doc Oil and Filter change.
A: Confirming CARFAX has accurately captured all service records and data is a good idea – especially when it comes time to selling your car. If an inadvertent mistake has been made, catch it early and easily under the Car Doc’s complimentary CARFAX program – a $39.99 value each time a CARFAX report is pulled.
A: The Car Doc allows for a 2-year grace period to continue to receive and utilize maintenance services. The Car Doc Membership Benefits – 12% Off (when available) parts, service, and preventative maintenance, CARFAX, Vehicle Appraisals, and Complimentary Loaner Cars continue for the life of vehicle ownership.
A: The Car Doc services can only be redeemed at the dealership where the program and vehicle were originally purchased, or at any Victory Automotive Group dealership. For a complete list, visit VictoryAutomotiveGroup.com.
A: It’s never too late to take advantage of the Car Doc. You can purchase Car Doc and join our membership anytime. Please see a Car Doc Customer Care Representative to discuss enrollment and financing opportunities.
A: We know. Our Owner’s Manuals are guides to maintaining our vehicles, but let’s face it, not everyone follows this to the T. We broke down all of our services into 5,000-mile intervals to match the manufacturers’ recommendations as closely as possible, while also trying to budget the average driver’s driving habits to fit our program. Feel free to deviate from the plan as often as you’d like.
A: We have listed the important numbers on the back of this brochure. If you are unsure who to call the best place to start is always the purchasing dealership.
A: It depends. At different mileage intervals our technicians are trained to inspect various items on your vehicle. Rest assured that they rarely miss something and always inspect the core components and functions of your vehicle each visit. Below is a list of a typical inspection:
Check all fluid levels, condition of fluids and leaks
Check and adjust parking brake
Check condition of alignment
Check radiator fan performance
Evaluate exhaust system
Inspect air filter
Inspect all lights
Inspect brake hoses and lines
Inspect cooling systems hoses and connections
Inspect distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires
